Narrative structure reverse development
Climax: Starting with climax rather than exposition to slowly reveal the development.

A decisive moment/ matters come to head; suspense is high.
- Either starting with a black out and POV camera editing with Shane's eyes closing and opening as diabetic sound of deep breathing
- Either start with contacts of bright light introducing BigT with some gang members beating up Shane
- Or start with Shane at night on the streets in the cold with an undiagetic sound track of his voice narrating his emotions as a monologue as the opening
All aspects involved within the climax scene should aim to create high suspense and audience attachment.
Role Focus
- Production design = Finding and researching good urban city locations to shoot the scene. If lighting is needed to create a deeper mood and what sounds would be needed to record and picked up to create the full effect of the opening scene
- Camera work= depending on which exact opening decided; working on the shots and best angles to shoot certain frames and what sort of camera needed. (plan camera work sheet )
- Directing=What the dialogue is intending to accomplish? script if needed or go by improvisation but write up a script with reasonable amount of dialogue in sections needed. Work with design and camera to bring both technical aspects together, creating a successful first act 1 climax scene
- Producer=Also working with the set design gathering the right material shot cues. Find a way to transfer into the next scene either by dialogue, lightning or sound.
